What is Detailing?
Detailing is the performance of an extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of an automobile, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail. It can be practiced for personal satisfaction, and it is also performed to prepare a car for car shows that feature the appearance of cars. What is Interior/Exterior Detailing?

What is Egg's Effect on Car Paint?

An eggshell is mostly made up of calcium carbonate. The yolk contains all of the egg's fat, while the white contains most of the niacin and riboflavin. The shell can scratch the paint, and, in some cases, it can go all the way to the bare metal. The inside of the egg will bond to the surface of the car if left to sit for too long. What are swirl marks?
Swirl marks are the C like scratches you see in painted surfaces. They are result of misuse of professional polishing equipment or poor product selection. These generally occur when an individual tries to remove paint imperfections with the wrong product and/or polishing equipment. The solution to this problem is a swirl remover to remove the actually C scratches that are in the painted surfaces, Instead of a polish. What is oxidation?
Oxidation is defined as the interaction between oxygen molecules and all the different substances they may contact. Oxidation is bad for car since the outermost layers of paint are constantly exposed to air and water. If the car's outer finish is not protected by a wax coating or polyurethane, the oxygen molecules in the air will eventually start interacting with the paint. As the oxygen burns up the free radicals contained in the paint, the finish becomes duller and duller. Restoration efforts may include removing several layers of affected paint and reapplying a new layer of protectant. I have clear coat on my car. Do I still need waxing?
Clear coat is just that; a clear layer of paint over the colored layer of paint. Clear coat being paint itself, must have wax applied to protect it as well. Like skin on our bodies, paint and clear coat must be kept clean and protected. Think of hand and body lotion as wax for your skin. If your car is hand washed once a week and garage kept, depending on your geographic location, you can go as long as 90 days before needing to apply wax. How often should I wash my wash in Winter?
Every drivers should take active steps to protect their car from winter road treatment. According to CDOT, sand/salt, liquid anti-icer and de-icer are used. De-icing chemicals can accelerate deterioration in concrete and steel structures. Vehicle corrosion will accelerate.
